You next want to take a position where you can establish your particular point of view. If you don’t have an opinion about the subject then you’ll find that you’re just repeating someone else’s news. Your customers will soon get wise to the trend and before long they’ll go off to listen to what that someone else has to say.

Choose a topic that you feel comfortable discussing so that you won’t have to worry too much about how to support your position. You don’t have to be over the top; simply making your opinion clear on the subject should be sufficient to establish you as a reputable expert in your particular field.
